As an Expansion Project Manager, you will be responsible for launching and executing the operation of our business in new countries. This includes research into new territories, building a local staff on the ground and also helping in the initial setup until a local team is up and running. You will be working very closely with other Expansion Managers, one of the Co-Founders and the Legal team in this position to craft an expansion strategy and help build out our operations.

On a day to day basis you will:

  • Research and obtain feedback from stakeholders in order to shape the expansion strategy of BOTS into over 160 countries within the next 2 years

  • Execute the launch of BOTS products into new countries

  • Organize multidisciplinary teams to achieve the common goal of expanding into new countries

  • Organize the setting up of branches in different countries: office, bank accounts, local teams, etc.

  • Find parties to carry out mergers and acquisitions to support expansion strategies

  • Work closely with the Legal, Marketing, Finance, People and Tech team to coordinate expansion activities

  • Be the main point of contact for international contacts.

Job requirements


  • Someone who can carry out the organization & execution of complex multidisciplinary projects from start to finish

  • 3-5 years of experience in startup expansion, project management, management consulting, or similar role

  • Strong international experience

  • Strong analytical and execution mindset

  • Someone who likes to strategize, plan and deal with multiple stakeholders

  • Likes wearing multiple hats in a fast growing ambitious startup environment

  • Can work with little guidance

  • Experience in a fintech startup is a plus

  • Familiarity with setting up a license to operate in the financial sector of another country is a plus

  • Experience understanding regulatory and legal world is a plus

  • Experience hiring and managing cross border teams is a plus.
