The ideal candidate would have 8+ years of technical management experience of which at least 5 years relates to technical/software development experience. He/She would also possess a deep understanding of organizational contexts, software architecture, Software Development Lifecycle, and a keen familiarity with industry best practices as relates to Product Development and Project Management.

You will be working closely with, among others: Engineering Managers; Solution/QA Architects; Lead Developers; Product Owners; Head of Product; and VP of Engineering – to create a joint view of programme delivery, risks and assumptions.
You will also be responsible for preemptively identifying and flagging effort/resource constraints, in addition to easing structural bottlenecks across engineering teams (as well as the entire organization).


Responsibilities for Technical Programme Manager:

  • Define project(s) scope based on resource and schedule constraints, as well as multi-stakeholder requirements

  • Manage schedules as agreed upon in the Product Board

  • Coordinate across engineering and organizational teams to ensure alignment of deliverables and delivery dates

  • Test and review solutions based on Product Manager/Owner’s definition of “done”

  • Communicate risk and (joint) resource requirements in the Product Board

  • Propose and implement best practices to the organization to streamline product development and delivery

Qualifications for Technical Programme Manager

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Servant leadership, but with a keen sense for when to lead stakeholders to meet a deadline

  • Strong understanding of fintech, SaaS, PaaS, and app development business contexts
